Air France Electronic Tickets

Enjoy the freedom of electronic ticketing, the ticketless ticket!

Electronic ticketing is now available on all French domestic flights, on all flights to North and South America, and on all the main routes to Europe, Asia and the Caribbean (1).

It is currently being phased in on African and Middle East routes.

The Air France Electronic Ticket will also progressively become available
on flights operated by our airline partners.

The easy life, with Air France!

Booking has never been this simple

You can book an Electronic Ticket through your usual travel agent or via Air France. All you have to do when booking is supply the number of a form of identification such as a credit card or Frequent Flyer card (2).

An itinerary receipt will be delivered or sent by e-mail or fax. This contains key journey information including flight time, departure terminal, latest check-in times and baggage allowance.

Change your mind right up to the last minute

Simply call your Air France ticket office, travel agent or 0 820 320 320 (12 euro cents/minute incl. VAT) from France to change your ticket or obtain a refund (subject to fare conditions). You don't need to move from your seat.

No danger of losing or forgetting your ticket

Your Electronic Ticket is created and stored by Air France in a dedicated database. This guarantees that you can travel without any fear of losing or forgetting your ticket.

Airline electronic tickets save time at the airport when you turn up for check-in. On departure from the main airports in France and Europe if travelling with carry-on baggage only:

  • save time at the airport by giving the number of a mach i ne-read able form of identification such as a credit card or Frequent Flyer card when booking your ticket;
  • at the airport, check-in takes under a minute using one of our self-service Kiosks, currently available at the main French airports and now being phased in throughout Europe;
  • follow the on-screen instructions and your barcode-enabled, easy-to-read boarding pass is printed out within seconds.

    Bon voyage!

(1) Flights operated by Air France, Delta Air Lines or a franchise airline (BritAir, CityJet or R6gional).

(2) On flights departing from selected countries, provision of an identity document number is optional but will help us find your ticket quickly and reliably in the Air France database
.

Thanks to the electronic ticket, you no longer need to wait for a ticket to be issued, and you can stop worrying about losing or forgetting your ticket!

Simple, practical, fast...

You make your booking (online or by contacting an Air France call center, or via your travel agency). Once you have paid for your trip, your ticket is created in an Air France database.

You receive a trip summary by e-mail or fax that includes all the necessary information about your trip, along with some mandatory legal provisions. Any modifications to your flight time or date can be made remotely, with just one call (based on your fare conditions).

In certain departure countries, you will be asked to give certain document references (Flying Blue card, credit card, passport, driver's license or ID papers) which will then be requested at check-in. This reference, known as an identifier, allows faster and more reliable check-in for your electronic ticket.

You can check in by internet, telephone, or by using a self-service kiosk.
